Ten Dead After School Shooting in British Columbia Community

TUMBLER RIDGE, British Columbia — Feb 10 - Ten people, including the suspected attacker, are dead following a shooting at a high school in the small community of Tumbler Ridge in western Canada, authorities said late Tuesday.

Police confirmed that six victims were found inside Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, while two others were discovered at a nearby residence believed to be connected to the incident. Another victim died en route to hospital. At least two individuals remain hospitalized with serious injuries, and dozens more were treated for less severe wounds.

Authorities said the suspected shooter was also found dead at the scene. Police indicated there was no ongoing threat to the public and no additional suspects were being sought.
