BENGALURU, Feb 16, 2026 — Artificial intelligence firm Anthropic has seen its business run-rate revenue in India double over the past four months, according to CEO Dario Amodei, underscoring the country’s rapidly expanding enterprise AI market.
Speaking at the company’s Builder Summit in Bengaluru, Amodei said adoption of its developer-focused product, Claude Code, may have grown even faster than overall revenue in India. While specific financial figures were not disclosed, he highlighted strong engagement and high technical usage across Indian enterprises.
Enterprise AI Adoption Accelerates
Anthropic, backed by Amazon and Alphabet, recently secured a $30 billion funding round that valued the AI company at approximately $380 billion, reflecting continued investor confidence in generative AI platforms.
The company has focused heavily on enterprise AI solutions. Claude Code, which became generally available last May, has gained traction among developers building and managing software systems.
Last month, Anthropic introduced Claude Cowork, an AI agent designed to automate and execute computer-based tasks for white-collar professionals. A plug-in launched in January to automate workflow processes sparked volatility in global software stocks, intensifying debate about how generative AI may disrupt traditional IT services models.
