NEW YORK (GeokHub) — Several high-profile consumer and data companies, including Bumble, Match Group, CrunchBase and Panera Bread, have confirmed cybersecurity incidents, as businesses across sectors face heightened digital threats.

Dating app operator Bumble said unauthorized activity did not compromise its core systems, stressing that user accounts, messages, profiles and member databases were not accessed.

Match Group, the parent company of Tinder and other dating platforms, said a separate incident affected a limited amount of user information. The company added there was no evidence that login credentials, financial data or private communications were exposed.

Corporate Networks Targeted

Business data provider CrunchBase said documents stored on its internal corporate network were impacted. The company said it quickly contained the incident and is continuing to assess the scope of the intrusion.

Restaurant chain Panera Bread also confirmed a cybersecurity incident and said authorities have been notified. The company stated that the data involved was limited to contact information.

Growing Cybersecurity Pressure on Consumer Brands

The incidents underscore the growing pressure facing consumer-facing companies and data platforms as cybercriminals increasingly target organizations with large user bases and valuable internal systems.

Companies affected said investigations remain ongoing, and several declined to comment further outside normal business hours.
