Speaking at the CES trade show in Las Vegas, Bosch said annual revenue from software and services is projected to exceed 6 billion euros by the start of the next decade, with roughly two-thirds of that growth coming from its mobility division.

Looking further ahead, Bosch forecasts that combined sales of software, sensor technology, high-performance computing and network components will more than double by the mid-2030s, reaching well above 10 billion euros annually.

The company reported total sales of 90.3 billion euros in 2024, underscoring the growing importance of digital technologies within its broader industrial and consumer products portfolio.

Bosch, which supplies components to global automakers while also producing household appliances and industrial equipment, used CES to showcase new driver-focused technologies. These included an AI-powered vehicle cockpit and advanced by-wire systems designed to support autonomous driving by replacing mechanical controls with electronic ones.

The company also said it plans to invest more than 2.5 billion euros in artificial intelligence by the end of 2027, highlighting AI as central to its strategy as vehicles evolve into software-defined platforms.
