Chelsea Clinch Conference League Title with Historic Comeback Against Real Betis

1.0x

Chelsea secured their first UEFA Europa Conference League title with a commanding 4-1 victory over Real Betis in Wroclaw, Poland. The win not only marked their inaugural triumph in this competition but also completed their collection of all major European trophies, making them the first club to achieve this feat.

Real Betis took an early lead in the ninth minute through Abde Ezzalzouli. However, Chelsea responded emphatically in the second half. Cole Palmer was instrumental, providing assists for Enzo Fernández's equalizer in the 65th minute and Nicolas Jackson's goal five minutes later. Substitutes Jadon Sancho and Moisés Caicedo added late goals to seal the victory.

Manager Enzo Maresca's tactical adjustments at halftime, including the introduction of Reece James, proved pivotal in shifting the game's momentum.

With this triumph, Chelsea have now won the Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, and the Conference League, solidifying their status in European football history.
