PSG 5-0 Inter Milan: Paris Saint-Germain Clinch First Champions League Title with Record-Breaking Victory
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) achieved a historic milestone by securing their first-ever UEFA Champions League title with a commanding 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the 2025 final held at the Allianz Arena in Munich. This triumph not only marked PSG's inaugural European Cup win but also set a record for the largest winning margin in a Champions League final.
The match began with former Inter player Achraf Hakimi opening the scoring for PSG in the 12th minute. Teenage sensation Désiré Doué doubled the lead in the 20th minute and added another goal in the 63rd minute, delivering a standout performance that earned him the Player of the Match accolade. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia extended the lead in the 73rd minute, and academy graduate Senny Mayulu completed the scoring in the 86th minute.
Doué's remarkable performance made him the youngest player to both score and assist in a Champions League final, surpassing feats achieved by legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Under the guidance of manager Luis Enrique, PSG's dominant display culminated in a historic treble, having already secured the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France titles earlier in the season.
